    Being an agrarian country, Agriculture has huge scope and will never run out of job opportunities in either government sector or private sector both plus entrepreneurship opportunities too. Lots of Government as well as Private job opportunities are present for fresh graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruit agriculture graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruit them to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans). Some government sector organisations which have job opportunities are:

    Dear Gavya,
    There is abundant scope abound for candidates after BSc Agriculture. The purpose of education is to empower individuals that ultimately leads to the collective betterment of society as a whole. Agriculture is one of the basic fields on which humanity survives, it is needed that bright young minds shed their inhibitions, critically analyze their options, and join this field.

    Lovely professional university is the first private university to get accreditation from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).     LPU is a first private University having ICAR accreditation. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture (government. Of India). LPU School of Agriculture has been granted accreditation by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, making it the first and only private University in the country to receive the accreditation.
