What are the job opportunities after doing b.tech food technology?

Hi, * There are plenty of job opportunities for food technologists in the country. Food technologists are in demand in the sectors such as hotels, quality control, soft drink factories, food industries, packaging, industries, hospitals, distilleries and rice mills. The major food processing companies such as : Perfetti India Ltd Godrej industries Ltd Amul Parle Products Pvt. Ltd Agro Tech Foods ITC Limited PepsiCo India Holding Britannia Industries Ltd Nestle India Pvt. Ltd Cadbury India Ltd MTR foods ltd Dabur India Ltd take up food technologists for monitoring the storage, temperatures, experimenting, processing and hygiene. Food technology graduates also have the option to take traditional professions such as teaching and working in food research laboratories. They may even start up own business venture as a food consultant. Public Sector such as Food Corporation of India also employ food technology graduates. Diploma holders in food technology can work as food Inspector and junior executive in the state government. * Salary : As far as salary is concerned, it depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc. But, to give you a brief view, For a professional at an entry level can earn a salary ranging between Rs.8,000 to Rs.12,000 per month. With work experience, one can get a salary between Rs.15,000 to Rs.25,000 per month. After Btech in food Technology,you can find job both in public as well as private sector. In public Sector,you can get into- - Ministry of Food and Its Quality - Trademarking company - Export of food stuff Sector - force,Indian Police Force,Indian - Railways, - Nationalized Banks - civil services. - You can also get job in Indian Army,Navy,Air In private sector you can get job in many companies like- - Nestle India - Cadbury - Sunfeast - Britania - Cocacola - Pepsico - Kurkure - Lehar - Lays - Parle
