In India, graduation is the primary need for employment eligibility, even though it may not have the same significance in the US or Europe. Using your Diploma to get a job could be simple at first, but it will be harder to change jobs later on. Since 90% of employers these days want at least a degree, you will be eliminated at the first round of screening. Throughout my career, I have held numerous positions, so I am aware of how challenging it can be to get by with just a certificate. The management of the organisation will always give preference to graduates over Diploma holders when making internal promotions.
