    Yes, civil engineering has huge scope considering the fact that India is a developing country and infrastructure is something huge things are happening and are in pipeline too . I would advise you to go further for specialization in this field too. like very few colleges and universities are offering Civil Engineering with specialization in Infrastructure. I know one university called UTM, Shillong which is famous for the programs like this called Civil Engineering with specialisation in Infrastrcuture Development.     Now days there is demand for civil engineers due to developments in cities. If you want more opportunities you should apply where there is more need of engineers in good cities like Banglore,Pune,Mumbai etc. it will promote you to higer level.There is also government jobs for civil (PWD) if you have BTech degree.

    As far as I know, Jobs where your degree would be useful include: Building services engineer. Construction manager. Engineering geologist. Other Job options-
    Building control surveyor. CAD technician. Consulting civil engineer. Contracting civil engineer. Design engineer. Estimator. Nuclear engineer. Site engineer.     Scope is based upon your area of interest, you can be a draftsman or site engineer in private companies, gain some experience and get placed in large construction companies like Int etc. You can have your own construction company. For that, you have to know the marketing strategies. Best would be to go for central government jobs, where you can get settled easily.
