Yes, civil engineering has huge scope considering the fact that India is a developing country and infrastructure is something huge things are happening and are in pipeline too .. I would advise you to go further for specialization in this field too.. like very few colleges and universities are offer

Now days there is demand for civil engineers due to developments in cities. If you want more opportunities you should apply where there is more need of engineers in good cities like Banglore,Pune,Mumbai etc. it will promote you to higer level.
