What are the job prospects after BMS?

Hi Surbhi, If you mean Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), then it is a good course to pursue and it offers good career prospects and excellent growth opportunities. The BMS program usually includes general business courses and advanced courses for specific concentrations. The degree is designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional areas of a company, and their interconnection, while also allowing for specialization in a particular area. The degree also develops the student's practical managerial skills, communication skills and business decision-making capability. I would suggest that once you complete your BMS you should work for 2-3 years and then opt for MBA as it will further enhance your career prospects. Lucrative careers are available for BMS graduates in many fields. A few of them are mentioned below: - Banking. - Budget Planning. - Educational Institutes. - Entrepreneurial Ventures. - Financial Services. The remuneration of BMS students is dependent upon the type of organizations that takes them in. Freshers will earn around Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,000 each month. With increase in experience individuals can make as much as Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 18,000 every month. This will go up as you gain more experience. I would suggest that before opting for any course you must first decide in which field you wish to build your career and accordingly you can select the best course as per your interest and liking.
