    Electrical engineers are in demand in electricity boards, atomic power plants, hydroelectric power plants, thermal power plants, areas such as robotics and biomedical electronics, power generation and distribution sector, non conventional energy sector, production plants, natural gas plants, petroleum, steel and chemical plants. There are plenty of job opportunities for electrical graduates in allied areas as well. Both private and public sector enterprises including ANERT, BHEL, Power Grid Corporation and State Electricity Boards hire qualified and skilled electrical engineers.

    Power generation and distribution sector is growing. Many projects both in thermal power, nuclear power will take a start and may need post graduates in Power Engineering.
