    There have been many advancements in ECE field but the job opportunities in the core field are limited.
    Nowadays most of the ECE engineers are being recruited for IT roles rather than core jobs. If you want to get a job in the core field you have to be extra-ordinary in both academics and extra-curriculars, then only you can stand out from the crowd. For getting into best companies first try to get into well reputed institutes like IITs, NITs, BITS and other CFTIs. Have a decent CGPA of at least 8.5+.
