What are the job prospects in India as well as overseas for Mechatronics Engineering?

Mechatronics is a specialization in Mechanical Engineering which is used to create and maintain robotic structures using the principles from Mechanical Engineering. Few colleges offer this course as a degree course in B.Tech and few as a post graduate course in M.Tech. I would suggest doing B.tech in ME and then specializing in Mechatronics as Mechanical provides you ample of opportunities if you ever change you mind for Mechatronics. The job opportunities in this sector are few but it is fine as the number of Mechatronics engineers is also less as compared to other branches. You can find job opportunities in Electronics, Automobile, Manufacturing, mining, transport, defense etc. You may also find opportunities in Army, the Navy and the Air force and organisations like the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Some of the profiles you can work for are -Industrial Robots (Operation and Maintenance) and Automation related areas.Avionics and Aeronautics. Industrial systems and Process control like on PLCs and pneumatic control. This is just some of the ideas I can get now, there can be more opportunities out there.

MECHATRONICS is the one of the most technical and techno practical branch which finds its immense application in modern gadgets other than appliances. Directly or indirectly, the processors, the motherboard, chips and all the electronics related devices are manufactured through its application. It forms the excellent creation of the new era with and advance fusion of mechanical and electronics. This stream is relatively new but is already very popular among the young scientists for its countless application and large scale pays. Now a days, it is popularly taught in IIT Delhi and 3 more IITs. The prime requirement of the branch is the immense dedication of inner soul for being extraordinary in the field. For mechatronics branch, one can find a bright career in the corporate related and based on technology as well ideas. A one famous example of this world is an Intel World which is considered to be the best example of artificial intelligence. Therefore, being a research oriented field, the prime focus and determination is definite way to the evergreen future.
