    The KVPY fellowship has been subsumed under the INSPIRE fellowship. The eligibility criteria for this fellowship are as follows:
    1. For stream SA, the students must have passed the 10th grade.
    2. For stream SX, the students must have passed the 12th grade.
    3. In order for their scholarship to be activated, students must pursue a Science or math stream course in their 11th and graduation years.
    4. The students need to score more than 60% in math and Science subjects. This fellowship will be awarded to the top 1% of students who meet the INSPIRE criteria, according to the new guidelines.

    The KVPY Fellowships are given to Indian Nationals to Study in India, Students intending to pursue/pursing under graduate programme under Distance Education scheme/correspondence course of any university are not eligible to apply.

Exam pattern for the KVPY exam 2023 will not be conducted from this year onwards. KVPY SA Pattern 2021: There will be 80 questions divided into parts 1 and 2 in this section. Part 1 will include 60 questions of 1 mark each. Every incorrect answer will have a negative marking of 1/4 marks. Part 2 will include 20 questions of 2 marks each. This scholarship is funded by the Department of Science and Technology. 2. The department announces the fellowship exam in the month of May. 3.
