What are the list of courses and opportunities other than MBA and M.Tech after B.Tech in Mechanical stream?

    You can treat B.Tech. As a simple Science stream graduation. And all those opportunities are also yours; means you can go for SSC, Banking sector, teaching line, UPSC, State PSC etc. With your interest you can ask me your doubts.

    See AFCAT UPSC, jag, NDA exams. You can also do another course like LL.B. Or become an entrepreneur also. You can apply in psu. You can do B.Ed and become teacher.

    You can do post graduation Diploma course which might be of 1 year duration like PGDB and PGDM. You can do certificate courses in your stream so that you will become competent for a job.

    After completing B.Tech in ME there are a lot of options for government jobs. The only thing you have to do is to have sound knowledge of mechanical engineering, I mean basic concepts and their application along with sound numerical solving capability which will come only by practice. I am listing some of the options.
    Get a decent rank in GATE (500) and you surely will get an interview call from some of prestigious PSU like BPCL, OIL, IOCL, NTPC, NHPC, OIL, GAIL, BHEL, MECL, MDL, NLC, NFL. There are many more. All have a nice starting package (above 10 lac) and there is a provision for incentives and increments. For ranks around 500900
