    There is no such major differences between BA in mass communication and BJ MC (Bachelor's in journalism and mass communication). On the basis of degree, they are same. Some colleges/ universities offer B.Sc in mass communication. The only difference is the syllabus. The courses typically for mass communication focus on mass communication, media research, development communication etc. Including journalism. But, BJ MC syllabus covers all type of media including new media. It covers reporting to editing in print media and news anchoring to reporting in electronic media (Radio and TV).     There is no such major differences between BA in mass communication and BJMC (Bachelors in journalism and mass communication). The course duration is three years. What differs is the number of subjects and the pattern of course. Bachelor of Journalism and mass communication is a specific graduate programme designed for this field whereas Bachelor of Arts has included mass communication courses along with various other courses of this stream.

    These both are the degree courses for academic study of various means of communication. The course duration is three years. Basically, they are same. What differs is the number of subjects and the pattern of course. Mass communication involves practical application of journalism (print media), television and radio broadcasting, film, public relations or advertising.
    With the diversification of media options, study of communication has extended to include new media, which has stronger feedback models than traditional media sources while the field of mass communication is continuously evolving.
