To get into a private veterinary college, the necessary marks can depend on both entrance exams and the rules in your state.

    Admission Criteria:

    - NEET-UG Score: Many private veterinary colleges use your NEET-UG score for admission. The score you need usually falls between 300 and 450 marks.
    - State Entrance Exams: Some states have their own entrance exams for vet college. What makes you eligible can be different depending on the state.
    - Direct Admission: A few private colleges might let you in based on your 12th-grade results. You should have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects.

To get admission in a private veterinary college in India, you'll generally need to have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing at least 50%  marks, and have attended and qualified for the NEET-UG exam. There is a different counseling process for veterinary admission.
