    While for IIEST Shibpur, a minimum aggregate of 45% in class 12th board exams is required to be eligible for admission in it. Most importantly, you have to appear for JEE Mains and have to score good marks to get admission into these colleges. For general category, it is 60%.

    The modes of IIEST Shibpur admission are online and offline. Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is based on merit and entrance exam scores. Candidates must have a valid score in any of the accepted entrance exams for admission. For this, candidates must study the CAT syllabus thoroughly, must seek CAT preparation tips, and must attempt the CAT mock tests. At the undergraduate level, the college provides five-year B.Arch four to five-year B.Tech, and other courses to students.     If you are asking about B.Tech course of IIEST Shibpur, then the admission in B.Tech courses are done through the JEE Main. Hence, the eligibility criteria of JEE Main is applicable here. Eligibility criteria : At least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.
