LPUNEST is an integral part of the admission process at LPU, serving both as an eligibility test and a scholarship exam for programs such as MBA, B.Tech, and others. For programs that do not require LPUNEST for admission, it primarily acts as a scholarship eligibility test.

Students can take the exams from home on any computer/ laptop equipped with a working camera and microphone, although stable internet connectivity is necessary.
