What are the opportunities available in mechanical engineering?

I've done diploma electrical through part time, now I want to join in engineering in mechanical branch.

It seems impossible to join mechanical degree course on the basis of electrical diploma course. Rather you can do one thing if you have maths at your +2 you can enroll yourself in AMIE. for degree course in mechanical. So many branches are there to opt.
