What are the options after BAMS? What are the benefits and scope of pursuing Diploma in Panchakarma ?

Hi Manika, Bachelor of Ayurveda and Surgery Medicine (BAMS) and Surgery is a medical degree made for those who have studied about the modern medicine and traditional Ayurveda. It is 5½ years course. (4½ year course and 1 year internship). But, practically it takes 6 years to complete due to various reasons in various states. The course aims at providing basic education in Ayurveda leading to the degree of B.A.M.S. It aims at preparing graduates of profound scholarship in the science of Ayurveda having basic and fundamental knowledge in different subjects of Ayurveda Some of the colleges in UP: 1. Bharat Ayurved Medical College Hospital and Research Centre. 2. Aligarh unani and Ayurveda Medical College. 3. Institute in Medical science. 4. Government Ayurvedic college and hospital. Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another. Is afterr doing BAMS one get Dr as prefix for their name
