What are the options and colleges available for me now? Should I take private or public institutions?

JEE Main CRL rank - 129599 and category rank - 39298. VITEEE rank - 129500. 12th board - 91%. Category - OBC-NCL, home state - Bihar. I am also thinking of taking a drop. I am just not that confident.

Actually you have plenty of option. You can get into any private college with desired course but for getting into government college it depends on the entrance examination marks. If you get 95 percentile in JEE Mains you may get into NIT's.
