@Neda deserves mention and has aptly provided a detailed explanation on various options available after M Com. Job options include positions in finance department of a firm such as finance officer, accountant level of positions. Banking sector offers promising opportunities for M Com holders. You may also pursue CAIIB or courses related to banking sector including MBA Finance. You may clear NET exam and pursue M Phil and/or PhD to pursue career in academic sector. After a BEd/MEd, you will be eligible for academic positions in higher secondary schools well. If you feel you can be a good manager, you may pursue an MBA and seek an entry into the corporate world as well. Actuarial Sciences is also a very good option especially with insurance sector privatization and expansion in our country, prospects seem to be promising. If you have aims such as private practice, CA/CWA and Company Secretary Course etc are worth doing.
