what are the options available for a career in Economics?

I have complete my PG in Economics.I wish to pursue a career in the same,either in d form of teaching or journalism. Wot r d options available. Are There any courses specifically in the field of economics....or there are any examinations for the same.....

if u pursue a degree in economics , u can get a job like financial advisor , financial assisstant etc in various companies .......and u can also apply for IES (indian economic service) exam and after qualifying it u get a reputed govt. job ..........today economics has much scope ......
