What are the other important factors apart from CGPA or percentage that might be considered for MS in automotive engineering in Germany?

I have completed BE in mechanical engineering with 61% from Pune University. I wish to pursue MS in Germany in mechanical or automotive engineering. Since my percentage is less what other factors might improve my chances to get admission like GRE, IELTS, German language, internship, job experience

Germany is a country, where technological fields are booming and with quality because they always choose best for their need, so when they choose a foreigner, they first attract by him/her academic record. So, it is definitely tough to get a chance there, but never lose hope because you are an automobile engineer and automobile industries are expand in Germany every day.
You have a chance, so you can choose German taught courses instead of English taught courses, then you can get admission there and it will also help you to get a job there. Extra-curricular activities, projects will also help you.
    All the best.
