There are total 6 papers in CA Intermediate exam. These papers are divided into two groups as follows:

Paper - 5: Auditing and Ethics

Paper - 3: Taxation

Section A: Income Tax Law

According to the marking scheme and CA Intermediate exam pattern, the total marks in CA Intermediate is 100 marks per paper.

Minimum score requirement to pass CA Intermediate is 40% per paper and 50% overall. If a candidate scores 60% or more in one subject and fails another subject, he/she can apply for exemption, if all requirements are met.
