To pass the GSEB exams, all students must receive at least 33% of the total marks. Candidates who don't receive at least 33% of the possible marks will need to take an additional exam. A minimum CGPA score of 33% is required to pass the GSEB exam. For students to pass the GSEB SSC exam, they must receive at least a "D" in every subject. Students with disabilities must receive a score of 20% to pass the GSEB SSC exam.

All the students are required to score at least 33% marks to pass the GSEB examinations. Any candidate failing to score the 33% marks will have to appear for supplementary examination. An aggregate mark of 33% is mandatory to clear the GSEB examination. A minimum of 33% passing marks are required in each subject and an aggregate for the students to be declared as pass in GSEB Class 12 exams. Students must obtain minimum of grade ‘D’ in all subjects to clear GSEB SSC exam. Differently abled students need to score 20% to clear GSEB SSC Exam.
