RBI Assistant Salary and Allowances:
After the 7th Pay Commission, the RBI Assistant's in-hand salary is INR 42,801 per month after all the allowances and deductions. Basic Pay: INR 20,700
Additional Special Pay: INR 400
Grade Allowance: INR 3500
DA: INR 9,718
Transport Allowance: INR 1200
Special Prerequisite Allowance: INR 2753
Special Allowance: INR 3788
City Compensatory Allowance: INR 2515
Gross Pay: INR 45,050
RBI Assistant Perks:
1- Work-life balance: The RBI Assistant works five days a week and has weekends off. Also, the job duration is 8 hours a day, I. e. , 9:15 AM to 5:15 PM, which also allows the employee personal time after working hours.
2- Accommodation facilities: government jobs come with transfers and the RBI provide quarters to their employees.
3- Medical benefits: The RBI doesn't only provide medical coverage for the employee but for their family members as well. This comes as a big relief, as many facilities are either free or charge a very nominal fee.
