    The syllabus for Language 1 includes the following topics:

    • a) Language Comprehension
    • b) Pedagogy of Language Development
    • c) Language Skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing
    • d) Vocabulary Language 2 is designed to asses the candidate's efficiency in English The syllabus for Language 2 includes the following topics.

    Candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 8 need to appear for both papers. The CTET exam is conducted in a total of 20 languages. In both papers, the English language is a common subject for those candidates who choose English as Language I or Language II.

  • In Andhra Pradesh TET exam Language 1 and Language 2 have a section dedicated to pedagogical aspects. The pedagogical aspects of Language 1 and Language 2 refers to the teaching and learning methodologies, strategies, and techniques that can be used to effectively teach and learn the language.
