    Placement in Petroleum engineering is almost nil, as there are rarely any companies that hire these engineers in LPU.

    B.Tech. (Petroleum Engineering) has been started in LPU in 2016, so first batch is yet to pass out in 2020. But as LPU is doing exceptionally good in other streams in terms of placements. So when first batch of petroleum engineering will be pass out, it will also break records.

    For a Mechanical Engineering graduate from LPU, there is no shortage of career opportunities. There are very good placement opportunities available. The university has good record in terms of placement and good core companies visit its campus.
