    The University has maintained a good placement record in recent years. The placement rate for BTech was the same in 2021 and 2022, however, it dropped by 4% in 2023. On the other hand, the year-on-year improving trend was recorded in the percentage of MTech students placed. The PES University MBA placement rate improved from 2021 to 2022 and for 2022 and 2023 it was the same. See the table below showcasing the PES University placement trends for UG and PG courses:

    According to PES University Engineering NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) Report 2022, an improving trend was witnessed in the median package offered to the students over the past three years during the PES University Bangalore B.Tech placements. The top companies taking part in the placement drive at PES University Bangalore are IBM, Amazon, Intel, and various others. According to media reports, the average and the highest package offered during PES University placements in 2023 stood at INR 17.99 LPA and INR 65 LPA, respectively.

    The placement rate recorded during PES University B.Tech placements 2021 was 87%. Earlier, the placement rate recorded during PES University B.Tech placements 2020 and 2019 was 82% and 83%, respectively.
