What are the placement scope of \\\\\\\'Electrical and Electronic\\\\\\\' branch?

Hi! Electronics and communication is one of the most emerging field in today's world. As communication is an essential need, Work in field of communication is huge. Electronics and communication offers various opportunities. One would get infinite number of opportunities in this field. After doing B.Tech in electronics and communication. One would have two options : First to continue studies and go for post graduation and other to go in job field. JOB: There are plenty of jobs for skilled electrical and electronics technicians with post secondary qualifications. After completing B.Tech, students have scope in both public and private sector with regard to installation, operation and maintenance of electronics equipments and systems. Also, one can go in defence, space and other organizations, which undertake research on a large scale basis, employ electronics engineers in developing and designing systems and devices for telecommunication and signal processing. Software companies also employs students with Electronics & Communication background. one can find job in Power sector, steel plants petroleum and chemical industry. Electronics and communication engineers can contribute in designing, fabrication and manufacturing of electronic equipments. They can also take up teaching and research in one of the many engineering colleges in India or abroad and opt for research work. Steel Authority of Indian Limited (SAIL), Civil Aviation Department, Indian Railways, Indus tan Aeronautics Limited, Indian Engineering Service (IES), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, MTNL & BSNL are some of the public sector organisations who hire graduate engineers from Electronics and Communication stream.
