What are the placement scope of \\\\\\\'Electrical and Electronic\\\\\\\' branch?

i got this branch in Galgotia's College of Engineering and Tech., i am very nervous that should i go for it or not b'coz i have not heard much of it.....totally confused ...... plz give me details

    Hi!
    Electronics and communication is one of the most emerging field in today's world. As communication is an essential need, Work in field of communication is huge. Electronics and communication offers various opportunities. One would get infinite number of opportunities in this field.
    After doing B.Tech in electronics and communication. One would have two options : First to continue studies and go for post graduation and other to go in job field.
    JOB:
    There are plenty of jobs for skilled electrical and electronics technicians with post secondary qualifications.
    After completing B.Tech, students have scope in both public and private sector
