Agriculture courses are much sought after courses in LPU with very good placements. It provides the students with world class education and bright career opportunities. For campus placements several Brands of the industry visited the LPU campus every year, students get trained for that and the process is still going on. Around 180+ reputed companies visit every year for campus-placement from LPU. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, SYNGENTA INDIA LTD, WIPRO LIMITED, and many other firms. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the Agriculture students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 5.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided. Students are prepared at academics level to achieve higher placements, some steps are taken as follows: 1. Experiential Learning Activities The future of agriculture lies with a faith born of deeds.
