Hi, The School of Law is governed and regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and its curriculum is also provided by BCI. Students have experienced internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses, and NGOs. LPU provides Experiential learning by Regular Open House Discussions in order to generate awareness about contemporary issues to identify corresponding legal challenges and implications. LPUPET or PET that refers to the Physical Efficiency Test of LPU is exercised offline. Fitness is evaluated through running, jumping, and sports drills that are not done online or on the campus premises.
LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
