What are the pros and cons of pursuing event management course from abroad?

Event Management involves creating and developing large scale events which may include conferences, conventions, concerts, trade shows, and etc. There could be many pros and cons with a career in event management, here I am listing few: PROS 1. Meeting Interesting people: - You can meet different kinds of people and different variety of people I. e from client to guests etc. 2. It is Fun: - It is really a fun and satisfying profession to work. 3. Explore New Things: - You can explore new places by travelling abroad or it can be tasting a new foods etc. 4. Team Work: - Team work plays a major role in event management, which in itself is extremely rewarding and can make it a really fun environment. CONS 1. Long Hours: - Need to wait for long time during weekends, and there could be lots of events during holidays. 2. Stress: - There is a lot of pressure for things to go right, things should be completed before the time frame and within the budget. 3. Home Sick: - Being repeatedly away from home, living without a family members for many days, it can be hard to balance with family members. 4. Tiring work: - Most of the time spent doing things like, standing, running, doing physical activities like lifting, carrying, holding, etc. 5. Meeting Difficult People: - Some clients can be difficult to handle, they could be demanding and unreasonable, rude etc. Sometimes event planners may face insults too.

Event management is one of those positions where the pros can turn to cons and vice versa depending on the person in it. One of the marine pros of working in event management can be getting to enjoy events. Another pro would be the creative aspects of the position working on themed events.
