What are the prospects after doing Advanced diploma in Stem cell research frm Manipal university ????

I am a MBBS grad, i came to know that the Manipal University is offering an advanced diploma in stem cell research, I would like to know about the job prospects after completing the course. Can I use that experience to apply for PhD in universities abroad??
