What are the qualifications necessary to be a psychologist or counsellor? How do we know if this is our area of interest?

4 years agoHello Palak Bansal, Aah, you have indeed asked a very interesting and pertinent question. There are courses in psychology at the level of graduation and then different specialisation at the level of post graduation. For becoming counsellor, one needs to have studied this. Now, in our student life, we study different subjects at different times. Different emotions form in our mind when we start studying any subject. When this emotion is of happiness and excitement be assured that this subject you like most and I would strongly recommend that one must do career in the same subject. Best wishes to you.
