What are the qualifications required for HTET exam?

<p>The candidates who wants to appear for the HTET exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH). The HTET eligibility criteria are given below:</p><ul><li>Level 1 (PRT for Classes 1 to 5): Class 12 pass with at least 50 per cent marks along with Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed)</li><li>Level 2 (TGT for Class 6 to 8): Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree with D.EI.Ed or BEd</li><li>Level 3 (PGT for above Class 8)<strong>:</strong>&nbsp;Master&rsquo;s Degree along with BEd</li></ul>

<p>Depending on the teaching level, different requirements are needed to take the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET). Candidates must have a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or its equivalent in addition to a Senior Secondary (or similar) with at least 50% of the required points for the Primary Teacher (PRT) Level 1 (Classes I&ndash;V). Candidates must possess a B.Ed. degree and a Bachelor's degree in the relevant topic with at least 50% of the marks required for the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Level 2 (Classes VI&ndash;VIII). It is necessary to have both a B.Ed. and a Master's degree in the relevant area with 50% of the possible points for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Level 3 (Classes IX&ndash;XII). All applicants must also fulfil the age and nationality standards established by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH).</p>
