The PCS-J exam is an entry-level exam into coveted judicial services. You can become a civil judge after clearing this exam. The qualifications required to appear in the PCS-J examination are as follows:
1. You must have a permanent residence in India.
2. You must be between the ages of 22 and 35 to apply for PCS J.
3. You need to have a completed Bachelor's degree in law from any recognised university.
4. You must also be enrolled in the state bar council as an advocate. -
Educational requirements for appearing for PCS (J) is the candidate should be a graduation in law from any recognised Institute in the country. Either 5 year of LL.B. Or a separate Bachelor's degree and LL.B.
