    The qualifications to become an aneasthestist;
    Entry requirementsTo become an anaesthetist you need to complete a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) and spend at least two years as a junior house surgeon in a hospital. You must then complete another six to seven years of specialist training and examinations to become a Fellow of an anaesthetic institution within your country.
