What are the qualifications to take the REET exam?

Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers Educational Qualification for Level 1 and Level 2: For Level 1: Primary Teacher Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50 % marks along with appearing or passing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/or appearing in the final year of 4- a year BEL. Ed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or, Graduation along with appearing or passing in the final year of the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. For Level 2: Upper Primary Teacher Graduation with at least 50 % marks and passing or appearing in one-year B.Ed. (Special Education). Or, Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or, Graduation with at least 50 % marks and passing or appearing in one-year B.Ed. Or, Graduation with at least 45 % marks and passing or appearing in one-year B.Ed. In accordance with the NCTE regulations or, Senior Secondary with at least 50 % marks and passed or appearing in the final year of four-year BEL. Ed or appearing in the final year of a four-year B.A. B.Sc. Ed, B.A. Ed, or B.Sc. Ed. Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers Age Limit 2023 There is no age limit for the REET exam, students with relevant educational qualifications from any age group can apply for the exam. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002.
