Governors State University admission requirements for undergraduate courses are given below:
- The applicants must currently be attending or have graduated from high school
- The applicants must have graduated from high school with a minimum GPA of 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- High-school subject requirements must also be met by the students such as 4 years of English, 3 years of Math, 2 years of Lab Sciences, 2 years of Social Sciences, 2 years of Fine Arts or 2 years of a Foreign Language and 2 years of Elective Academic Units
