What are the requirements for PGDM students to apply for government bank jobs?

    Hi,
    Government banks are also known as Public Sector Banks. The procedure to apply for the job is that you must appear for an entrance exam. Upon clearing you can apply for the job.
    Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) has the duty to conduct entrance exam for 19 Public Sector Banks. These banks participate in two entrance exams from IBPS:
    IBPS Clerk
    IBPS Bank PO
    You can appear for any of these if you hold a graduation degree. The IBPS Clerk exam is conducted twice in March and sometime in October. On the other hand, IBPS Bank PO is only conducted once in June.

    Being a holder of PGDM you are eligible to apply for all general and management skills required government job until and unless they are having any specific criteria for job like technical students or candidates having knowledge in medicine field. You can apply for jobs in banking and insurance sector, management sector, Army, SSC, railway, etc. Go for exams like UPSC, SSC, RRB, IBPS etc. Prepare for these examinations, go through last year question paper and practice mock test paper.     Any PGDM/MBA student can apply and get a government job. Govt. jobs have own criteria for recruiting and selecting candidates for various positions.
