You need have to pass your diploma with at least 65% to get eligible. After that, there are various colleges that take lateral entry. But keep in mind that lateral entry seats are only around 10-15 depending in college. So, there are always less chances of selection.

If you are a diploma student and want to enroll yourself for B.Tech, then you have to give the entrance exam for lateral entry and you will be directly admitted to the 2nd year. Kindly upvote.
