LPU is with mixed feeling. As it is private, you'll not have much freedom thanks to CCTV's throughout the campus. We need to be selective about our friends as there are a lot of misguiders. Hostels are great and enjoyable. People are with a lot of distractions but very few with sincerity and good placements (hence less competition, less hard work). Life is awesome, a lot events, celebrity visits and easy exams. Self-studies are must otherwise nothing will come in hand. Girl is to boys ratio is maintained. The campus mall and parks are awesome if you have great friends to hangout and who knows to manage between studies and timepass. Overall it's learning with lot memories.
