    The Bar Council of India is responsible for creating standard rules for legal institutions, lawyers, and students pursuing law. These rules and professional standards that advocates need to maintain have been placed there under the Advocates ACT of 1961. Some of these standards for new lawyers who will practice as advocates are:
    1. When acting as an advocate in court, a lawyer needs to ACT in a dignified manner in respect of the court.
    2. A lawyer needs to maintain decorum and appear in a professional dress code.
    3. A lawyer should not be part of any kind of malpractice, like faking evidence.
