What are the salaries of IAS IPS, and IFS officers?

The IAS IPS, and IFS are the top Group A services in the central government. The salaries of these officers are as follows, according to the 7th Pay Commission's recommendation: 1. IAS The starting pay level of an IAS officer is Level 10, at which he or she is entitled to a salary of Rs. 56100 per month. There is an increment every four years up to level 18, which is Cabinet Secretary of India. At this post, the salary scale is Rs. 90,000 per month. 2. IPS: The starting pay level of an IPS officer is equivalent to that of an IAS officer, I. e. , Rs. 56,100. The IPS officers are entitled to an increment with every promotion up to the post of Director General of Police. Some might even get promoted to the post of Director of Internal Affairs. The pay scale at the top position in IPS is Rs. 90,000. 3. IFS: The allowance of an IFS depends on the country in which he or she is posted. The basic pay band is similar to that of an IAS or IPS officer; the only difference is that they are entitled to additional allowance as per posting.
