what are the sccolarships available for doing a phd in physics in a good university of US or UK?
dear edy,i'm saikatnil chakraborty studying in final year of bsc(hons) in physics.i want to do a phd in theoretical physics from a good university of US or UK.but we dont have the necessary financial strength.can u please inform me about the scholarships available?also is a GRE general test needed?

Hi,
It's not possible for you to pursue this program in US because of the fact that your degree is a 3 year degree whereas the degree required in US is a 4 year degree or equivalent. If you want to study in US, you will have to pursue a PG diploma or a masters program first in India.
