    LPU provide various scholarships on different categories. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on the following categories:1. Eligibility Qualification: (for example 10+2 for Under graduate Programmes and graduation for PG Programmes)2. LPU NEST (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test)3. Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. )4. Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards.5. Defense based scholarship.

    Most of the faculty staff are from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc.

    Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education.     Yes. LPU give scholarship. Mainly two categories of scholarships provided by the university
    The first category of LPU scholarship is performance, which starts from the merits student and goes to hidden talent. Various parameters of performance are:
    1. Percentage in Eligibility Qualification / previous to eligibility qualification
    2. LPUNest
    3. National Level Tests like JEE Mains, NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT, etc.

    LPU understands the social corporate responsibility and believes in holding hands of the needy. Hence, in a bid to owe the social responsibility towards the needy, and give a token to the meritorious, LPU offers a range of scholarships and financial aid.     Dear Nikki, LPU has a wide range of scholarships to benefit the students. The scholarships are a boon to the needy and a big encouragement to the meritorious. The best thing about LPU scholarships is what you get at the time of admission continues till the completion of the course. However, the criteria is different for those who have sought admission through sports quota, board toppers and performing arts.     LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India. LPU provides ample opportunities to its students in terms of placements, internships, industrial exposure. LPU Scholarship scheme up to Rs. 2.9 Lac per student Students has been awarded a scholarship worth Rs. 100+ crores in last year only. LPUPET or PET that refers to the Physical Efficiency Test of LPU is exercised offline. Fitness is evaluated through running, jumping, and sports drills that are not done online or on the campus premises.

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
