    U can say there is almost no scope of biotech in india.u can do Your B.Tech in biotech frm heritage institute of technology if u r from west bengal and then do M.Tech frm a renowned university and get a job in a foreign country coz placement in india for biotech is really difficult.evn if u get a job here u wont get a good salary so u can opt for a job in America where there are ample research works and demand in this subject.all the best!

    here are opportunities in Biotechnology but there are less when compared to other streams of B.Tech.But if you try hard surely you would success.
    Scope of B.Tech biotechnology:After B.Tech one can go for M.Tech. IITs and others even offer integrated M.Tech programme. Biotech is a booming sector and the growth opportunities are high. The Biotech sector includes - Biopharma, Biotech, Biotech services,Bio industrial, Bioinformatics etc.The Career options related to the Biotech Industry extend to universities,medical schools and government labs along with pharmaceutical companies,chemical, agriculture and allied industries.
