In B.Tech programme, students are taught about all the major fields of engineering. However, in a B.Tech Hons programme, the course is framed in such a way to cover the specialisation in a more focused manner. Hons Programmes are more rigorous natured programmes at LPU. Hons programmes are more specialised as compared to General degree programmes. Different universities have different models of giving Hons. Programmes. At LPU, they offer one extra course per term in Hons programmes as compared to regular ones. So, it depends on your interest now which one you want to join from the both and if you are willing to put more effort and hard

CSE Hons. contain more subjects than CSE. If you choose CSE Hons. you can get a specialisation in a field, but if you take CSE, you can only doing engineering as all branches in engineering. For both courses in LPU, you can get the best faculty and study culture. The highest placement.

LPU's placement record is generally strong but varies by course and student performance. Top branches like CSE, IT, and some core engineering and management programs see better placements, with big companies like Microsoft, Google (via off-campus), Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, and Infosys visiting over the years. A few students do get very high packages, but these are exceptions, not the norm. Many students get average packages in the range of 4–6 LPA, especially in mass-recruitment roles. Your skills, internships, projects, communication, and networking matter more than just the college name, even at LPU or any other university.

hi,

Law placements at LPU are decent and growing, but you should keep realistic expectations. Top and proactive students usually secure internships and jobs in law firms, corporate legal departments, litigation chambers, NGOs, and LPOs. The university regularly organizes moot courts, legal aid camps, internships, and interactions with advocates and judges, which help in networking. However, like most law colleges (except a few NLUs), campus placements are not guaranteed for everyone. A lot depends on your mooting, drafting skills, internships, research work, communication, and initiative. If you build a strong CV, LPU can provide platf
