- Check eligibility: Candidates passing H.S. or equivalent examination in 2017 or afterwards are eligible.
- Calculate aggregate marks: Add marks in top four subjects, excluding Compulsory Environmental Education/ Studies.
- Meet subject-specific criteria: Obtain 50% in aggregate and 45% in the subject
