What are the steps of application for admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Silchar?

<ol> <li>Admission to B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Silchar is made on the basis of seats allocated by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) from the list of candidates selected by all India JEE (Main).</li> <li>A specified number of foreign nationals/NRIs are selected under the policy laid down by Govt. of India and admitted directly to the 1st year of the courses.</li> <li>15 per cent of seats are reserved for SC and 7.5 per cent are reserved for ST candidates.</li> <li>Students are required to register in every semester, irrespective of the number of credits earned at the end of every year.</li> <li>If a student fails in a course, they will have to repeat the course in the appropriate semester when the course is on offer.</li> </ol>
