<ol> <li>Check eligibility: BSc in Biological sciences with Chemistry up to SYBSc level or BSc in Chemistry with Biology courses up to SYBSc level.</li> <li>Apply for the entrance examination.</li> <li>Appear for the entrance examination, which includes: <ul> <li>Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) on Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioprocess Technology, Bioinformatics, and other allied areas (60 questions, 60 marks).</li> <li>Numerical Ability and General Aptitude testing (based on 10+2 concepts in Physics and Chemistry) (15 questions, 15 marks).</li> </ul> </li> <li>The admission is based on the merit list derived using the following weightage: <ul> <li>Score obtained in the entrance examination (70% weightage).</li> <li>Qualifying BSc examination percentage (SEMESTER 5 and 6/ SEMESTER 5) (30% weightage).</li> </ul> </li> <li>Provisional admission may be given based on Semester V marks, subject to the student passing Semester VI and providing proof when released by the University.</li> <li>Document verification and payment of fees, including a document verification fee of Rs. 1250/- for students from other than the University of Mumbai.</li> <li>Check the total fees, including deposit and laboratory fees, as sanctioned by the Board of Management, St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous).</li> </ol>
