What are the subjects in B.Tech mechanical engineering?

Hello, Core Subjects of Mechanical Engineering Following are some core subjects of mechanical engineering which are taught in most of the engineering colleges in India. However this is not the complete list of subjects, it may differ from institute to institute- Strength of Materials Thermodynamics Manufacturing Process Fluid Mechanics Machine Design Heat and Mass Transfer Theory of Machines IC Engines CAD/CAM Automobile Engineering Power Plant Engineering Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Lab Subjects Lab practicals and workshops are the most essential part of mechanical engineering course. Following are the subjects which are studied under laboratories of mechanical engineering- Materials Science and testing Lab Machine Design Thermodynamics Lab Heat and Mass Transfer Lab IC Engine Lab Computer Aided Design Workshops Elective subjects Apart from core subjects, there are some elective subjects in each semester. Some common elective subjects are- Materials Science Discrete Mathematics Fluid Machinery Non-Conventional Energy Resources Advanced Welding Technology Mechanical System Design Above subjects and electives are taken from some universities' curriculum.
